B3 is an ecosystem for games and consumer applications operating on public blockchain infrastructure. It is built on Base, a Layer-2 network that settles to Ethereum, and operates an additional network layer that settles to Base. The project also enables developers to deploy separate game-specific chains, referred to as "GameChains", which operate independently while remaining interoperable with the wider B3 ecosystem and sharing its liquidity.

The B3 crypto-asset may be used within the ecosystem’s applications, including to acquire virtual items, early-access passes or exclusive content, and to interact with games and other applications deployed within the B3 ecosystem. It may also be locked or staked to access newly launched GameChains and receive rewards, and may be used to submit or vote on proposals concerning the operation and further development of the network. The availability and scope of these functionalities depend on the technical arrangements maintained by the project and may change over time.

The crypto-asset does not grant any legally enforceable or contractual rights or obligations to its holders or purchasers. A fundamental repositioning of the company occurred in 2023 and especially in 2024, when the focus shifted towards providing risk management, regulatory reporting, and supervisory compliance solutions for financial institutions and crypto-asset service providers. This marked a material shift in business operations and monetisation strategy.

Based on preliminary unaudited management information for the financial year 2025, revenues are expected to have exceeded EUR 800,000, while preliminary net profit is expected to exceed EUR 100,000.

These figures are not audited and are not based on a finalised annual financial statement. Accordingly, they remain subject to finalisation and may differ from the figures ultimately reported in the annual financial statements.

With the regulatory environment now taking shape and the platform commercially validated, it is assumed that the effects of the strategic developments will continue to materialise in 2026. According to publicly referenced information, NPC Labs, Inc., which carries out principal development work for B3, raised approximately USD 3,000,000 in pre-seed financing and USD 18,000,000 in a seed round announced on 2024-07-22. Staking is the clearest functionality currently available to holders and is provided through a facility operated for the project.
