Based on Article 12 of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), the white paper has been modified. The following section provides a summary of these changes.
This white paper has been modified to reflect significant new factors arising since its notification on 20 January 2026, namely the Cronos POS Chain v7 and v8 network upgrades, which introduced a revenue-based staking model and a maximum supply of 100,000,000,000 CRO enforced at protocol level, the announced wind-down of the Cronos zkEVM, and the suspension of block production on the Cronos network on 30 August 2026 following an exploit of a lending protocol deployed on that network.
